The Ruijie RG-CS85-24SFP/8GT8XS-D is a 24-port 1GE SFP Layer 3 enterprise-class core or aggregation switch with 8 x 10GE SFP+ uplink ports. Designed as an aggregation switch for large networks or a core switch for small and medium-sized networks, the SKU RG-CS85-24SFP/8GT8XS-D combines flexible fibre and copper connectivity, hardware redundancy and strong Layer 3 routing in a single 1U chassis.
Built on Ruijie's next-generation RG-CS85 platform, this managed Layer 3 switch delivers 688 Gbps switching capacity and supports IPv4 and IPv6 dual-stack routing. Hardware redundancy, VSU virtualisation and a comprehensive set of security and monitoring features help keep your network connected and resilient.

- 24 x 1GE SFP ports (with eight combo ports) – ports 1 to 16 support 100Mbps and 1000Mbps rates, while ports 17 to 24 do not support 100Mbps; ports 1 to 8 are 10/100/1000BASE-T combo ports
- 8 x 1GE/10GE SFP+ uplink ports – support both 1GE SFP and 10GE SFP+ transceivers
- Hardware redundancy – two replaceable, hot-swappable power module slots, three built-in fixed fans with 3-level fan speed adjustment and fan fault alarm
- Boot redundancy – 16 MB BootROM with two flash chips for 1+1 boot redundancy
- VSU virtualisation – virtual switching with up to 4 VSU members for simplified networking, millisecond failover and high scalability
- Layer 3 routing – IPv4 and IPv6 dual-stack, with 24,000 IPv4 unicast routes and 14,000 IPv6 unicast routes
- Network security and monitoring – security policies, real-time monitoring, CPP and NFPP to protect the CPU and improve overall robustness
- Flexible management – SNMP, RMON, Syslog, USB log backup, CLI, Eweb and Telnet, plus Ruijie Cloud management options
- Expandable – one expansion module slot for additional 10GE/higher-speed connectivity
- Performance – dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU, 1 GB memory, 4 GB flash, 4 MB switch buffer, 64,000 MAC address entries

Compatible Products
Power module: RG-PA150IB-F hot-swappable AC power module. At least one RG-PA150IB-F module must be purchased, as power modules are not included with the switch. The RG-PA150I-F module is also listed as supported in Ruijie's hardware guide, and the two types can be used in combination.
Expansion module: CM85-4XS2CQ expansion module for the rear expansion slot.
Transceivers: the SFP+ uplink ports support both 1GE SFP and 10GE SFP+ transceivers.
